The City of Langford will be celebrating Earth Day by hosting an official opening of Porcher Park!
Earth Day is on April 22 every year.
The Porcher Park opening event is coming up on Tuesday April 22, 2025. Time tba.
The public is invited to hear remarks from City of Langford Mayor and Council about the new park which includes a forested trail area, public bench seating area, children’s playground, and food-growing community garden.
There will be information on how to sign up for a food-growing plot within the community garden (or email to info@urbanfoodresilience.ca to get your name on the list).
The park is on Wren Place in central Langford.
