On September 26, 2024 the Urban Food Resilience Initiatives Society (UFRIS) participated in the WorkBC Jobs Fair in Langford.
We introduced three possible volunteer or paid-project opportunities: Neighbourhood Pod Connector | Community Garden Ambassador | Workshop Host.
During the four-hour event we answered questions non-stop about the importance of growing natural food in urban spaces, and explored the skill-sets of people who are interested in being part of the growth and success of UFRIS goals.
